How did the name of Jesus, a carpenter, become more famous than any other name in the past 2,000 years? He never held a public office. He never traveled very far from his home. He never had the riches that came with the fame. For the most part we only have a 3-year window into this man’s life. Yet 20 centuries later, he is still the lead story.


Think about it this way. Who is the most famous person on the planet right now? You got a name, GOOD. In 100 years, he or she will be just a footnote in history. Yes, there will be videos, movies, or whatever else, but he or she will not have had the effect Jesus has had. This carpenter has affected all our lives without us even knowing it. 


When was the last time you stepped foot in a hospital? The first hospital in recorded history was founded by THE CHURCH of Jesus in the 4th century. Think about that school that you love so much. Before Jesus, only wealthy males received a formal education. It was Jesus that started teaching everyone no matter gender or class.  So, the church followed in his footsteps and founded schools for everyone. Also, the music that you love so much! No, Jesus did not create music while he was on the earth, but his followers did create musical scales so that churches could play and sing the same worship songs to Jesus all across the church.  Equality? Jesus started that movement, too.


Jesus was a forerunner in so many areas of life that we would not even think of. You may be asking who this man was.

He lived only 33 years on this planet and over 2,000 years ago. This man, who thousands of people flocked to hear him speak or have him heal a sick loved one, has had a profound effect on us all. The last five episodes of this stage will give you insight into how different this man who changed the world really was. Jesus was the greatest influencer that ever lived, and it started with how he treated people. It was revolutionary. 


You will realize that the Real Question is not who this man was but who he is NOW. This man, Jesus, lived, died, and rose from the dead. Jesus is the savior of us all. He is still alive today.
